before Christmas went off to their new home today.

We really had a great time at the NFRS Christmas show today.
It was a really good atmosphere!
I entered a few rats. Kondrick and May were
in Pets and Pardrai, Morpethia, Bagel, Flame and Spirit in varieties.

came 2nd Adult owned buck and got a Special for "Butchest Buck"
May
came 3rd adult owned doe and got a special for "Prettiest Doe"
Morpethia
came 3rd Agouti
Spirit came 1st Agouti Kitten
Bagel came 2nd Cinnamon kitten

came 1st British Blue, 2nd Novice and 4th Kitten challenge
Pardrai came 1st

Mindra's and Beltara's kittens are now 6 weeks old and all
the homes have been finalised. They will be leaving over the next few days.

To help promote the Oxford show I have started handing out

We had a good day at the NFRS Meldreth show. Kondrick came
3rd in Best Adult owned buck and May came 2nd in Best adult owned doe and 3rd
best pet. Kondrick got a special award for the "most handsome buck"
and May got a special for "Kidnapped". Larina came 1st British Blue
and 2nd place Novice.
Pardrai was the little star at this show. He got: 3rd
Stud Buck, 1st British Blue Agouti, 1st Novice, 1st Adult Challenge, Best AOV
and Best Opposite Age.

Mindra & Beltara are doing a fantastic job with their
babies. Mindra has 6 girls and 5 boys and Beltara has 2 girls and 9 boys.

Ossy passed away today. His cause of death is unknown.

Beltara was mated to Kondrick. We are expecting kittens around

Halcyon Mtaloth and RCT Beltara have been mated up today.

RCT Beltara won a number of awards today at the NFRS London
Champs show. She got 1st place in Best Black, Best Self, Best Novice and also
go Reserve Best In Show - I am really proud of her.
Halcyon Scrarneth also
got 1st place in Best British Blue Agouti and Halcyon Mtaloth got 1st place in
Best British Blue

Larina has gone on a holiday to stay with Sarah of HKM stud
to be mated up to Jonah over the next 2 weeks. Beltara will be mated up on the

went to collect 4 new kittens who will be used for the Badger line. I have 2 boys
- Pop up & Woof and 2 Girls - Blaze & Fidget They are very cute and very
playful - massive thanks the Jenna & Sarah of Hakuna Matata Rattery

We still don't have a rat shed. This has been going on now
for 5 weeks and should really have been completed.

Rupert (the rescue boy) now has two friends, Paddy and Yogi,
who are now looking for a new home together.

Halcyon Estwi has passed away. He was found with Kanga and
Ossy cuddling up to him. His cause of death is unknown 1st

All the kittens from Scrarneth and Bixer's litter have now got
homes and only 2 pairs are left here waiting to leave for their new homes. We
wish them all the best and hope to the new owners keep us updated with their progress. 15th

Bixer's babies are now 4 weeks old and are doing really well.
They are really confident rats and will make wonderful pets

Bixer had her babies around 4pm this afternoon.
I don't numbers yet as I am letting mum have some time with the babies. I do believe
there are quite a few!

Roo was PTS this morning following him having 2 strokes and being
in quite a bit of distress after the 2nd one. After a discussion with our vet
it was decided that the kindest thing to do would be to end his suffering.

Morpethia came in to season tonight which means no babies from
her. I will not be re-mating her.

Smudge was put to sleep today. She hadn't been well for a few
days and today she was rushed to the vets.

NFRS Portsmouth show Scrarneth came 1st British Blue
Agouti and 3rd in the Adult challenge, which gave me my first ever win with an
adult rat.

We have 2 new boys who have come to join us - Halcyon
Estwi and Halcyon Scrarneth.
One of these boys hopefully will be the dad of the first RCT Litter. A massive
Thank You to Lisa Grove of Halcyon Stud for letting me have these boys.

We have 2 new girls here - Alpha
Centauri Bixer and Alpha
Centauri Aswanti. One of these girls will become a mum to the first RCT Rats
litter. At the moment I can't tell the 2 apart.

Rocky and Rambo have now found a new home. They have left
me to live with Scott. We wish them all the best.

Well after a number of weeks and a few attempts at try, Drake
and Ossy are now living with Rocky and Rambo with no problems. They have moved
in to a Critter 3 as I need the main cages for the new kittens who will be starting
my lines. A few of the kittens are
still looking for homes from Petal's
and Rosie's litters. 17th

Bubbles has left us for Rainbow Bridge. She was 16 months
