This is to show you some of the cages that I have had in the past or cages which have been set up for rats here on holiday to give you some ideas for your own cages.
The Rat Room
Before I moved my rats in to the shed one of out bedrooms was used as a rat room. This was the layout which had 4 cages in.

Above picture:
These are the boys cages. I have a group of 6 in the Explorer at the front of the picture and a group of 7 in the Ferret Nation cage in the back of the picture . In the picture the group of 7 only have access to one section but I have since opened the cage up so the now have access to 2 levels.

Top Right Picture:
The girls cages. Far cage is a group of 10 girls and the front cage had 15 girls in at time of the photo being taken.

Bottom right picture:
This is a small rack where I have the small items, such as the water bottles, paperclips, medication, wipes and treats. Nest to that is the large food storage bin which has a complete mix in.
